If you need a financial incentive to enter your writing in a competition, how about the Bridport Prize?

This prestigious award for poetry is judged by the fantastic writer and spoken word artist, Hollie McNish, this year. Here’s her brilliant poem, Embarrassed.

There is a £10 entry fee for all submissions. The 1st place prize is £5,000, 2nd place is £1,000, 3rd place is £500 and there will be 10 x Highly Commended awards of £100 each. The organisation raises money for the Bridport Arts Centre in Dorset.
